Jayne was a lifelong resident of St. Marys, a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1986, and was a former employee at Eastern Sintered Alloys.
On July 1, 1989, in Queen of the World Church, Jayne married Lee J. Schatz, who survives.
In addition to her loving husband and mother, she is survived by two sons: Joseph J. Schatz of St. Marys and Jeffrey A. Jayne was a fighter and battled declining health from Multiple Sclerosis with positivity and a spirit was admired by all that knew her. She had a great sense of humor, beautiful blue eyes, and a smile that lit up the room. She enjoyed a good yard sale and had an expertise finding quality jewelry. Music was important to Jayne and enjoyed watching music videos. She would take photographs of nature and loved her pets. Above all else, Jayne loved her family and cherished her time with them.
A private visitation and funeral service will be held at a future date.

Our hearts go out to you and your family with the loss of your dear loved one. There are no words to take away sadness when you lose someone you love. In our time of deepest need the tenderness of God is a refuge like no other. He alone understands our sorrows and draws near in love to wipe away our tears
When my mother passed away, we found the resurrection hope very comforting.
May the resurrection hope sustain you. A loved one lost can grieve the heart, and makes us yearn for tomorrow, when Jehovah will keep the promise he made of no pain, no death, no sorrow found at Revelation 21:4.
