Jason’s neighborhood was his world. He was that friendly face that would pop-in on all of them especially his best friend Kenny. He loved to offer a helping hand and listening ear. In Jason’s last years, his caregivers became his world and he held a special place in his heart for each of them. Jason loved the holidays and his room was alway brightly decorated for each of them. For his favorite holiday of Christmas, he decorated outside as well for many years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Donna Ragland and her husband David of St. Marys; his brother, Joseph D. Wickett and his wife Danette of St. Marys; and his niece Haleigh Wickett of Pittsburgh.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his loyal companion dog, Niki.
Jason was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He loved animals and believed in angels. He had a huge heart and a beautiful smile that lit up the room. Those who knew Jason well could tell stories about his tremendous memory. His family and all who knew him benefited greatly from any encounter with him.

Another good guy from the old neighborhood. My condolences to the family.
Our hearts go out to you and your family with the loss of your dear loved one. There are no words to take away sadness when you lose someone you love. In our time of deepest need the tenderness of God is a refuge like no other. He alone understands our sorrows and draws near in love to wipe away our tears
When my mother passed away, we found the resurrection hope very comforting.
May the resurrection hope sustain you. A loved one lost can grieve the heart, and makes us yearn for tomorrow, when Jehovah will keep the promise he made of no pain, no death, no sorrow found at Revelation 21:4.
My deepest sympathy to the family and Donna!!!!
Jason always had a smile, warmth & happiness beamed from his smiles. He lived with a long illness but it didn’t dim his smile. Jason has gone to his eternal home where he’s pain free & walking & sharing stories. He has gone home, we morn his loss but memories of him live in our hearts.
