Jane F. Shine | 90

August 9, 1930 - January 6, 2021

Jane F. Shine, 90, of 645 South St. Marys Street, St. Marys, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Penn Highlands DuBois, after a brief illness.

She was born August 9, 1930, in St. Marys, daughter of the late John and Florentina Foster Anzinger.  Jane was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Public High School, Class of 1949.  She was an employee of the former Stackpole Carbon Company and was a member of the Queen of the World Church.

On May 20, 1952, in the Sacred Heart Church, Jane married Frank J. Shine, who preceded her in death in 1982.

She is survived by three daughters: Arlene Rhoades and her husband Christopher of Weedville; Mary Spencer and her husband Tom of Reading, PA; and Christine Neely and her husband Ronald of DuBois; a son, Mark Shine and his wife Carol of Johnsonburg; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Joseph Anzinger and his wife Rita of St. Marys.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jane was preceded in death by six sisters: Rita Miller, Agatha Wilson, Colette Westover, Theresea Bonfardine, Martha Kennedy, and Celine Lundy; and by four brothers: Herman, John, William, and Quintin Anzinger.

There will be no visitation.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA  15857.

The Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
