James B. “Jim” Lenze, 66, of 151 Mule Shoe Road, Brockport, PA, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at his residence.
He was born March 8, 1958, in St. Marys, son of the late Robert F. and Jane Henry Lenze. Jim was a lifelong resident of the area. He attended St. Marys Area High School and later graduated from Coudersport High School.
On September 19, 1992, in Sacred Heart Church, he married Karen Levenduski, who survives.
In addition to his loving wife, Jim is survived by his daughter Callie LaRocca of Woodbridge, Ontario; his grandson, Aiden, who meant the world to Jim; his sisters: Christine Lenze of Brockway and Cheryl Ann Todd (Steven) of Eureka Springs, AR; three brothers: Jeffrey Lenze (Caroline) of Ridgway, Michael Lenze (Bonnie) of North Pole, AK, and Thomas Randall Lenze (Dolores) of Statesville, NC; and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lenze, a brother Timothy Lenze, and his son-in-law, John Lucca LaRocca.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his time hunting and fishing as well as vegetable gardening. He loved his family and cherished each moment spent with them. He will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at the St. Marys Beagle Club, 105 Benzinger Road, St. Marys, PA 15857, on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM.
Memorial donations, if desired, can be made to a favorite charity of one’s choosing.
