Geraldine “Gerry” A. Meyer, 86, of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of 1018 S. Michael Street, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born December 29, 1935, in DuBois, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Perry Garofalo. Gerry was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School and DuBois Business College. In 1958, she married Eugene Lorelli, who preceded her in death in 1959.
On June 22, 1968, Gerry married Harold W. Meyer, who preceded her in death on May 13, 2010. In that same year, Gerry and Harold moved to St. Marys where they made a life together and raised their family.
She is survived by three loving daughters: Cindi Lorelli of Erie, Beth Upperman (Kevin) of St. Marys, and Lori Clinger (David) of St. Marys; four grandchildren: William, Karrie, Destiny, and Kalani; and four great-grandchildren: Hunter, Tekoda, Jonathan, and Evelyn.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Garofalo and her brother, Thomas. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Gerry was a member of the Queen of the World Church and set an example of service to her community by volunteering her time in the cafeterias of Queen of the World School and Elk County Christian High School. She enjoyed polka and square dancing with her husband and playing cards with friends. She had a fondness for pets and an incredible love for her family. She will be missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Tuesday, October 25 2022, at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and again on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 10:30 AM until 11:15 AM.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Elk County Humane Society, 1029 E. Eschbach Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.

Queenie had a infectious smile, sweet heart and raised amazing women. I see that in Cindi. I’m sure there was a party and polka dancing when she entered Heaven’s gates. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Cindi, your mom was one of the sweetest persons I ever met. She always had the sweet smile on her face. I will always have fond memories of your Queenie. Love you, Cin! xoxoxo
Gerry was a wonderful woman she will be missed by all that knew her. Prayers to her family during this time of sorrow. I remember going to her house to visit her. She was always very kind. Rest In Peace Gerry
