Erma M. Kronenwetter, 86, of 567 Chestnut Street, St. Marys, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born August 1, 1935, in Coal Hollow, daughter of the late Innocente “Ernest” and Louise Cesa Comiotti. Erma was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Kersey Schools. She was a former employee of Pure Carbon.
On August 1, 1959, in the Guardian Angels Church in Coal Hollow, Erma married Sylvester G. Kronenwetter, who preceded her in death on July 31, 2013.
She is survived by her three sons: Stephen Kronenwetter of St. Marys, Michael Kronenwetter and his wife Barb of St. Marys, and Jeffrey Kronenwetter of St. Marys; two grandchildren: Amanda Belsole (Mike) of St. Marys and Shawn Kronenwetter (Emily) of Kersey; three great-granddaughters: Riley, Lillian, and Emma Belsole of St. Marys; four great-grandsons: Michael Belsole and Kipton, Kole, and Konnor Kronenwetter of St. Marys; her sister, Joanne Hyatt and her husband Robert of Kersey; and by her brother-in-law, Gerald Huff of Kersey.
In addition to her husband and parents, Erma was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Ann Kronenwetter; her great-granddaughter, Kinsley Kronenwetter; six sisters: Marie Mattivi, Vera Himes, Rose Dinsmore, Alice Brem, Emma Copella, and Louise Huff.
Erma was a member of the St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed going to see the Elk and going to camp. Most of all, she treasured the times that she spent with her family.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, November 26, 2021, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Peter Augustine Pierjok, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Dear Mike, Barb, Steve, Jeff and family, please accept our condolences on the passing of your beloved mother, Erma. She was a beautiful and friendly lady. God be with you as you go through these trying times. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
