Doris was our guardian angel. She loved every one with her full heart and made every one feel exceptional. My two boy toddlers absolutely adored her and looked forward to seeing her. They loved playing the keep the balloon up in the air game. I miss emailing you Doris and think about you every day. My kids remember you 🌈.. Oct 13 is more special now.
What a great woman and a life well lived! May she now rest in Peace.
Sara and all, your mom was a welcome friend in our family home on so many occasions. She was always uplifting, gracious and a joy to be around. Her laughter still echo’s in my head. Dorrie’s passing is an end of an era for us, but a well earned entry into eternity for her.
Molly so saddened to hear of your mother’s passing, prayers for your family.
To Sara, Molly, Janet and all of Doris’ family & extended family – Doris was an incredible, special lady with an infectious sense of humor and laugh. How blessed we were to be next door neighbors for all of those years. So very sad for all of you, but happy for Doris that she finally had her prayers answered. She will be missed by all. Sending thoughts and prayers. Love, June
Always a Smile and Welcome from Doris & Jean Masson when I sat with them at Grace Episcopal Church – can just imagine the Happy reunion and with her Daughter and Loved ones – Doris will live FOREVER in the hearts and minds of those whose lives she touched…
Deepest condolences, Janet in the loss of your mom.
I enjoyed chatting with her last year when I visited my family.
Holding you in my prayers and sympathy.
Doris was a lovely person. She always had a kind word! She was also steadfast in her faith, which was inspirational. She loved her family deeply. She will be missed!
Sorry to hear of Doris’ passing. I got to know her growing up through my aunt and uncle, Walt and Vi Johnson. My mom Ardelle stayed in touch with her until mom’s dementia took over. My wife, Cindy Copella Parsons played saxophone with Molly. Doris was a very special person and I am blessed to have known her.
Janet, I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother. She lived a long life. Good for her. Good for you all to have her so long.
Also to the rest of the family. My condolences to you all. Penny Wehler Jacobs.
So honored to have worked with such a strong-willed woman. She was always curious and followed the changes in herself, and the world with a ‘no-nonsense’ practical outlook. I believe anyone who really knew her, will always remember her. Prayers to all. -Charlotte
