Delores A. Dippold, 96, a lifetime resident of St. Marys, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at her home.
She was born October 14, 1927, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Edward and Emma Blessel Brennan.
On September 30, 1950, in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Delores married the late Victor J. Dippold, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children: Daniel J. Dippold, Michael V. Dippold (Pamela), Douglas E. Dippold (Kelly), and Myron “Jake” Dippold; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Delores was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Dippold Gier; a son, Jacob; four sisters: Bertie Pisaneschi, Mar Schatz, Rene Hallyburton, and Maudie Neureiter; and five brothers: Ed, Leed, Herbie, Ray, and Norman. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She would like to be remembered as a person that did what she needed to do. We remember that Mom did all things with much love.
A Mass will be held in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 9:30AM, with Rev. Thomas More Sikora, OSB, celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers and memorial donations, the family requests prayers for all those whose lives intersected at some point with Mom’s.
Delores was one of the sweetest ladies I ever met and I was blessed to know her. My condolences to Dan and his family.
