Clara E. Palmer | 86

April 17, 1936 - September 25, 2022

Clara E. Palmer, 86, of 170 Toby Road, Kersey, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Penn Highlands Elk.

She was born April 17, 1936, in Kersey, daughter of the late John and Grace Branmiller Lance. Clara was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1954.

On April 19, 1954, in Cumberland, MD, Clara married her best friend and love of her life, Edward C. Palmer, who survives. They were blessed to share 68 years of marriage together.

Along with her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Donita Mosier of Kersey and Dori Palmer of Virginia; three sons: Daniel Palmer of St. Marys, Damon Palmer (Michelle) of DuBois, and Douglas Palmer (Carol) of Brockport; fourteen grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and by a great-great-grandson.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by two sons, Darrell and Dean Palmer, and by two sisters, Marie Sheehan and Ann Flannigan.

Clara was a member of the Kersey United Methodist Church. She took great joy in the time spent in her flower garden. Clara was an avid baker who loved to share what she made with her loved ones. Above everything, she cherished her time with her family and loved them so much, especially her grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend funeral service to be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Ann Foor officiating. Burial will follow in the Maria Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Kersey United Methodist Church, 106 Dagus Mines Road, Kersey, PA 15846.
