Arlene June (Bell) Rothrock, 91, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 23, 2022. She was born June 27, 1930 in Harrisburg, PA, daughter of the late James and Sarah (Baker) Bell.
In 1950, she married William A. Rothrock III, who preceded her in death in 2003. They then relocated to St. Marys, where they enjoyed raising their family with the benefits of a rural lifestyle.
Arlene was active in the Shiloh Presbyterian Church teaching Sunday School, leading Vacation Bible School, and assisting with administrative duties. She was also a Girl Scout leader in the community for many years.
Arlene leaves a legacy of four generations, who were blessed with her steady grace and secure love of family. She is survived by three children: Karen Selzer of San Antonio, TX, William Rothrock, IV of Oakwood, TX, and Deborah Grysinski (Robert) of DuBois, PA; five grandchildren: Melissa, Nicole, Erin, Sean, and Michael; six great-grandchildren: Derek, Haley, Anthony, Gracie, Ben, and Adair; and four great-great grandchildren: Blakelyn, Leo, Brooke, and Will, who affectionately called her “Cute Grandma”. Her family was her leading priority throughout her life.
Funeral services for Arlene will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 25, 2022 with Rev. Scott Wiest officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00AM until the time of service.
The family requests that you give your children and grandchildren a big hug and tell them how much they mean to you.
She was a friend.
So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers for peace and comfort to the family

Missy, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how you adored your Grandma and how you lovingly cared for her. She was so very fortunate to have you in her life and I think it worked both ways. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Missy and family, so sorry about your Grandmother! She was so special to you and I knew she will be greatly missed. Hope your memories will help you keep a special place in your heart for her. Love Corrine
With sympathy to all. It was an honor to have known her through her daughter Deborah’s family. May you cherish the memories you have of a wonderful human being and know that she is looking down from heaven keeping an eye on her “family”.
