Anna “Ann” M. Uhl, 90, formerly of Irishtown Road, Kersey, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born March 22, 1931, in Toby, PA, daughter of the late Augustino and Aurelia Mattiuz Mattivi. Ann attended Kersey schools and was a retired employee of Elk County Christian High School.
On August 26, 1967, in the St. Boniface Church, Ann married Thomas J. Uhl, who preceded her in death on April 22, 1990.
She is survived by one son: Stephen T. Uhl of Lancaster, PA; three grandchildren: Samantha Uhl, Sarah Uhl, and Thomas Uhl, all of Lancaster; one sister: Lucy Gnan and her husband Leander of St. Marys; one sister-in-law: Mary Ann Mattivi of St. Marys; and by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by a sister, Isabella Mattivi; and by seven brothers: Casey, Renaldo, John, Bruno, Irvin, Raymond, and Edward Mattivi.
Ann was a member of the St. Boniface Church, she enjoyed crafts, and would take long car rides with her husband Tom when he was alive. Ann especially cherished her time during all of the Mattivi family reunions.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
