My name is Jim Eckert, I’m the youngest son of Bill and Birdie Eckert. It has been a while since I was out in St. Marys, but I have fond memories of Aunt Alice, the rest of the Ehrensbergers, and Bucktail Trail. We were sorry to hear about Aunt Alice’s death and you have our deepest sympathies during this difficult time. We hope you can find peace by remembering the times you spent together.

I have very fond memories of Aunt Alice. All four of my children received a beautiful hand-made afghan from her when they were born and they still use them today. She was truly a very giving person. I know you will miss her very much. Our family sends it’s prayers.
