Sue was a wonderful teacher and a dear friend who will be sadly missed by all who shared these memories with her. I feel so blessed to have known Sue. I always admired her great strength and courage that saw her through life with a smile and a kind word for all those she knew. When I think of Sue this is how I will remember her and I’ll smile…
Rest in peace, Sue…

I had much admiration for Sue. As a teacher, she was one of the few who was able to teach and manage my daughter who had multiple mental disabilities. When I saw her at the nursing home, she was always so nice and cheerful. My condolences to those near and dear to her.

Jen, I had your mom as a teacher many years ago for third grade (and your dad – back when the Bills always made it to the Super Bowl, and I was happy to root for them in his honor in the play offs this year!) and she had a lasting impact on me to this day. I am so sorry for you loss, your mom was a wonderful woman.

Mrs. Spiher is someone I will never forget! She was my teacher in 3rd grade and one of the best I’ve had. She was so kind and fun and often called her students “sunshine.” My deepest condolences to the family.

I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Spiher. She was one of my favorite teachers, I even remember painting her a Steeler football player when I took Ceramics. I still have letters she wrote to me over the years. She was truly a teacher that made a difference. She will be missed.

Leave A Condolence
