Kay L. Copley

Kay L. Copley, 64, of 35 Anderson Street, Mt. Jewett, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020, at the Elk Haven Nursing Home, after a battle with cancer.

She was born September 11, 1955, in Kane, daughter of the late Millard and Nora Francart Davis.  Kay was a graduate of Kane Area High School and was an employee of Walmart in Bradford.

Kay is survived by a daughter, Paula Smith and her husband Ivan of St. Marys; two sons, Robert William Copley, Jr. and his wife Kristi of Tioga, PA and John P. Copley and his wife Kendra of Allentown, PA; eight grandchildren; and by two brothers, Millard Davis of Whitehaven, PA and Theodore Davis of DuBois.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Winson; and by a brother, William Davis.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral and committal services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Kay Lynn’s passing. I was from Mt. Jewett and went to school with her -the Class of 1973. I think this picture in her obituary is her Sr. pic.
I recently retired and would see her quite often in Walmart, and enjoyed little visits.

I am very sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. Kay was one of the nicest people I knew from Mount Jewett. She was always friendly and no matter where you saw her, she’d always stop to chat and offer friendly conversation. Sending thoughts and prayers to her family. Rest in Peace, Kay.

So sorry to hear of Kay’s passing…had heard from a fellow classmate over the weekend that she wasn’t doing well…Kay was a good friend through the school years, and was always great to run into her when I was back visiting….Our thoughts and prayer are with Kay’s family in your time of loss.
