My condolences go out to Miss Beveridge’s family. Seeing her in 2013 was a joy. She not only remembered me, but also mentioned that she still had the poem I had written for her when she retired. She will be greatly missed.
Dear Tom and Brinley, We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Sue Ann – She was a lovely lady. We both had the privilege of seeing her often since 2013 when she received the Hometown Lifetime Achievement. When I heard she was coming back to lead us in a concert, I didn’t hesitate although I never thought she would remember me but to my surprise she did. I had her for music at Cameron County High School and was in the chorus throughout my school years. Those were lovely times singing with her. My husband, David, is a cashier at Walmart (British one), and he had such good times at the register chatting to her and she always sent home her regards to me. I would see her often in Walmart and we always had lovely chats and hugs. We will miss her terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
She was a wonderful woman. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her son.
My sympathies to Miss Bev’s family. I will always remember her music class was my favorite. Rest in Peace Miss Beverage who brought beautiful music to a lot of your students.
To the family of Sue Beverage,
