My deepest sympathy for the family on the passing of your Dad.
He was such a wonderful man. It is hardest on those left behind to carry on. I’m glad he is with your Mom, and his Sisters and Grammy. He used to call me Ralph, from Green Acre’s, it was our running joke for many years. Comfort comes with knowing we will all be together again in Heaven, someday. May he Rest In Peace. Amen.

Much love, Franny

So sorry to hear that your dad passed away. I grew up in St. Marys and he was my 8th grade teacher at St. Marys Parochial. Great man, great teacher! I am now 65 and every time I am visiting there & pass the house on Erie Ave., I remember him telling the story of after a fire, he woke up in the hospital and looked up and saw an angel… and that angel was Jean. I was invited and attended their wedding and occasionally used to stop by and say hello. RIP Mr. Mawn… so happy you are now once again with your Angel.

Chrissy, I love the photo you chose for your dad. I always remember him smiling. I am so very sorry about the pain you feel in your heart from his absence. He was such a kind man and he passed that trait onto you. He will forever be a part of you and your memories of him will make you smile and cry at the same time. Love has no expiration date and it doesn’t get easier, just different. Thoughts and Prayers from me to you and your family.
