Margaret M. Pichler

Margaret M. Pichler, 81, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of Terra Cotta Road, Johnsonburg, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Elk Haven, after a lengthy illness.

She was born November 11, 1936, in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late John and Jennie Powetek Myslinski. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School, Class of 1954.  She retired from the former Fisher’s Big Wheel Store in St. Marys.

On June 9, 1956, in the Holy Rosary Church, Margaret married Gerald F. Pichler, who preceded her in death on June 7, 2007.

She is survived by a daughter, DeDe Morgan and her husband Bradley of Kersey; two sons, Leo J. Pichler and his girlfriend, Elaine Gigliotti of Kersey and Brent G. Pichler and his wife Fran of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Ashley Pichler, Lauralee Pichler, and Ira Pichler; two great grandchildren, Austin Cuneo and Nevaeh Wildnauer; a brother, John Myslinski and his wife Jacqueline of Mullica Hill, NJ; and by nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a member of the Holy Rosary Church. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan, and collected nutcrackers.  Margaret enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, painting, and especially her dog, Major.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. David Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
