Joseph M. Brem, 61, of 412 Main Street, Kersey, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at his residence.
He was born November 16, 1954, in Ridgway, son of the late Maurice M. and Alice Comiotti Brem. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1972. He was an employee of Metal Powder Products Company Ford Road Division.
On August 29, 1981, in the St. Mary’s Church, Joe married Sharon A. Hillebrand, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Amy Morrissey and her husband Matthew of Pittsburgh and Ashley Brem and her companion Peter Bissert of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Marsha Brem of Kersey and Sandy Kreckel and her husband Don of St. Marys; and by a brother, Mark Brem and his wife Karen of Kersey.
Joe was a member of the St. Boniface Church. He was a lifelong member of the Fox Township Volunteer Fire Department and was a former driver for the Fox Township Ambulance Association. Joe was an avid Pitt fan and was ecstatic this year when Pitt beat Penn State and Clemson University. He also enjoyed going to Pittsburgh to visit his girls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Boniface Church on Friday, November 18, 2016, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday evening, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Shocked to hear this, worked with Joe for many years and I guess you never know. From what I heard he was getting ready to retire. Much too young but you never know. Go rest high on that mountain big guy, you will be missed.
