A friend of many and served the community, had many interests but had a hard couple last years. You will be greatly missed but will suffer no more. Go rest high on that mountain with the angels Mike.

To the Bauer Family,

Every time I receive news from my hometown about the death of friends from long ago, a little piece of my heart breaks away. Mike and I dated for a short time back when he was the President of the Sportsmen’s Club. I just loved that guy! Mike was so fun and fun-loving! And he was always so kind to me. The time I spent with Mike is a lovely memory that I cherish.

My sympathies go out to all of you. I am certain that Mike enriched each of your lives in a very special and personal way, giving you wonderful memories with which to hold him near.

With sadness (and yet a slight smile as I remember Mike),

Linda & I wish to extend to Mike’s family our deepest sympathy. Mike was very intelligent and a friend. Knowing Mike, being around him through the Fire School & Tri-County; learning from him during my career in the volunteer fire service has been nothing short of amazing. His family, friends, community, & definitely the fire service have lost one amazing person. We are truly honored to have been friends with Mike. RIP Brother.

I’m sorry for your loss. Mike was an amazing man. He will be missed by all. I will miss all the good times we had when we used to go on picnics when we were young. As we grew older he was the Fire Chief when I joined up to be a fireman.
