Nello G. Pasquinelli, 92, of Ecumenical Assisted Living in Harrisburg and a former resident of Toby, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015, at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg.

He was born August 29, 1923, in Benezette, PA, son of the late John (Giovanni) and Bruna Bianucci Pasquinelli. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Toby schools.  He was a retired employee of Airco Speer Carbon Graphite with over 40 years of service.

On October 30, 1948, in the Holy Cross Church in Brandy Camp, he married Elnora “Nood” Luzier, who preceded him in death in 2000.

Nello is survived by two daughters, Brenda Hammer (Jerry Robinson) of Hummelstown and Linda Foradori (Francis) of Brockway; five grandchildren, Crista (Foradori) DeGregorio (John), Jason Hammer (Summer), Tracey (Foradori) McClelland (Andrew), Joshua Hammer (Angela), and Brandon Foradori (Chelsey); eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Leno Pasquinelli of Niagara Falls, NY and Aldo Pasquinelli of Bradford; and by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Etole “Doc” Pasquinelli and Anthony “Tony” Pasquinelli.

Nello was a member of the St. Boniface Church. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in WWII.  He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was a Purple Heart recipient.  He was a lifelong member of the American Legion, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and a member of the Pennsylvania Anglers Association.  Nello was an avid trout fisherman and hunter, and he loved spending time outdoors.  He was a passionate Yankees fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 28, 2015, in the St. Boniface Church, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating. Full military rites will be accorded by the Fox Twp. Servicemen’s Burial Detail.  Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation is at the St. Boniface Church on Monday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the St. Boniface Church, 355 Main Street, Kersey, PA 15846.
