I was very fortunate to have spent time with your Mom while working for the Community Nurses. She was a pleasure to spend time with and I will always have fond memories of my time spent with her. My sincere condolences to her family.

As you put to rest your beloved Mother, the one that was so loved, may you find comfort in knowing that she is with Our Lord, and reuniting with family members that have gone before her. There will be no more suffering just peace. There were several of us that would see Ruthie as we walked the halls of Elk Haven visiting our family members, seeing her have a Tootsie Roll Pop and enjoying it very much. Chiming in when the other Ruth Meyer would be singing, and seeing the beautiful Blessed Mother Statue on her night stand in her room. You can become very attached with the residents at Elk Haven.
Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely, Linda Decker and the Staff of Northwest Savings Bank

Thoughts and prayers to the family on the passing of your mother and grandmother. She was a very special lady who shared my love of chocolate. I became very attached to her when she was my mom’s “roomie” at Elk Haven and I will always smile when any of the Westerns that your mom and my mom watched every day come on.
