Aunt Helen, Jim, Rod and Amy: I am so very sorry to hear of Uncle Chet’s passing, but I guess at 95 he certainly enjoyed all life had to offer. I will always remember him as a kind and gentle person who always seemed happiest when his family was around. I was also surprised on our last visit to appreciate his liberal nature (as I am also a liberal) and his amazing grasp of social issues. I guess when I was younger I never got much of an opportunity to know him as an adult, but I have an admiration for him that will always be with me. I’ve read a lot about the hereafter, and I know that our loved ones can actually see us after they have gone, so don’t be surprised if you sometimes feel his presence in your lives. Love to you all.
