Louise M. Andres

Louise AndresLouise M. Andres, 89, of 406 Chestnut Street, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at the DuBois Nursing Home after a brief illness.

She was born August 3, 1925 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Charles and Clara Pistner Schaut.  She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Central Catholic High School, Class of 1943.

On July 8, 1950 in the Sacred Heart Church, she married Arthur A. Andres, who survives.  She is also survived by a daughter, Marilyn Marconi and her husband Stephen of Daguscahonda; two sons, Robert G. Andres at home and Brian J. Andres of Wapakoneta, OH; and four grandchildren, Theresa Marconi and her husband Matt Wilson, Michael Marconi, Melinda Marconi, and Nicholas Marconi.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Haser and Jane Kerner; and four brothers, Thomas Schaut, George Schaut, Walter Schaut, and Jackie Schaut, who passed away in childhood.  She was the last member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Andres was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, St. Anne’s Society, and the Sacred Heart Social Committee.  She enjoyed baking and gardening.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, Pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
