To the family of Cathy Bauer, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom and I were friends and grew up in Ridgway. I will always remember her birthday because on that day in 1974 she hooked me up with Tony McGill. We married and were together for almost 39 yrs until his death this past April. The last time we spoke we talked about getting together to watch her and John’s wedding video as I was one of the bridesmaids but we never did. Shelly, Tina, Deanna and Michael and her sister Judy, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Marie McGill.

My deepest sympathy to all of your family and friends. I graduated with Cathy and I remember our many fun times in school. I remember her being one of the best roller skaters at Rocky’s Roller Rink up from her house on Boot Jack. (Now Medaldyne) I remember us skipping school on Fridays sometimes. Whenever I would see her we would always chat. It has been a few years since I last saw her though. I pray that she is at Peace in the loving arms of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May God bring you all peace and comfort you during this difficult time.

Although we never met, condolences to Cathy’s children on the loss of your mother. And to Judy, deepest sympathy on the loss of your sister; it’s been more than 40 years since we last saw each other. Fond memories of your parents and grandmother (my grandmother’s sister), and you girls as teens, are treasured. It’s sad that family ties lapsed and that we failed to keep in touch through the years. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
