To the Weis family,
I read about Nancy’s passing (online) as I am in Raleigh with my new twins. All I have is pleasant memories of Nancy, as she always took the time to ask, “How are YOU doing?” A very special lady, who will be sorely missed by all who love her.

My sincere sympathy to Nancy’s family. I was a teacher at Spruce, and knew Nancy from those years. When we met (usually in a store) we’d have a nice chat. Such a lovely, gentle lady.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of your wife/mother. Know that she left her mark here on earth with all the children she taught (me being one of them) and the wonderful family she left behind. May her memory help you during this difficult time.

I just learned about the passing of “Mrs. Weis”. She was one of my favorite teachers and we always had pleasant conversations when I would run into her somewhere. I will never forget that she sent me a Get Well card during summer vacation when I was in the hospital a year after I was a student in her class. What a kind teacher, dear lady, wonderful person and loving mother she was! Donny, Jane and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Heaven definitely has another angel!

Dear Don and family,
Nancy was at the top of the list of incredibly good, kind and holy people. She will especially be missed by my Mom, Sally, who has valued her friendship for almost fifty years. She is a forever friend to all of us. I have no doubt, having been a prayerful and holy woman, that she continues to pray and intercede for all of us so that one day we will join her in heaven with our blessed Lord, Jesus.
