Gloria J. Copella

Gloria J. Copella, 63, of 332 Brandy Camp Circle, Ridgway, passed away Sunday morning, October 20, 2013, at the Elk Regional Health Center after a brief illness.

She was born March 15, 1950 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Gerald Jerome and Mary Elizabeth Kline Copella.  She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Ridgway High School, Class of 1968.  She was an employee of the St. Marys Carbon Company.

She is survived by her brother, Laverne Copella of Brandy Camp; and her nephew, Gerald Richard Copella of St. Marys.

There will be no visitation.

Committal services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Gloria’s passing. We started school together in first grade at Horton and graduated with the Ridgway class of 1968. Forty-five years have passed since then but I will always remember Gloria as a nice person. Quiet and kind to all. My thoughts and prayers are with her.
