It was such a shock to me that you had passed. But I feel that God had found a place for you with him. Be happy there. Play cards with Gramma K and Aunt Pep. I will miss you forever. You were a great cousin. I will miss our talks.
Love you…

I was shocked to hear of Tim’s passing. It was so sudden, it’s hard to put into words what his friendship meant to us. He was a good friend, always quick with a laugh & a smile. He will be greatly missed and we wish his family peace during this difficult time.

I am very sad to be sending these condolences to Tim’s family. I had just seen Tim for the first time in 10-15 years and was happy to get a hug from him and meet his Sara for the first time. I told him I wanted to see him at our class reunion in August and was looking forward to it. I will miss him even though I only saw him on occasion. Who knew that was a goodbye for me…I guess GOD did. GOD bless Tim’s family with sore hearts.

To the Sette Family, and Sara,
I met Tim about 13 years ago! He was Jed’s best friend, so I kinda really felt like he was mine also! We had a lot of good times with Tim, a lot of laughs. He was one heck of a nice person; we are gonna miss him dearly. Sorry I won’t be able to make the funeral due to health issues! Just wanted to send my condolences and prayers.
I will always feel his presence as an angle! God has good things planned for Tim! Till we meet again Tim, love and hugs! If any one of the family needs anything please let Jed and I know!
Love always, Debbie

To Tim’s family,
Its hard to express the sadness you feel when someone is taken so unexpectedly, way too soon, way too young….. Tim was one of the good guys~ always with a “Hello”, and warm smile and genuine caring. I am so very sorry for your loss. God must have needed a very special man.

Mrs. Sette, Kathy, Tina, Nicky and Johnny,
I was shocked and saddened to read that Timmy has left you way too early. I often think fondly of the hours I spent playing in your side yard with Frankie and Timmy. They were great times and ones that I wouldn’t trade for all the money in the world.

You probably don’t remember this but right before Frankie’s death he helped cut down a tree in the Rimer’s backyard and my dad kept a stump in rememberance of Frankie which I now own. Tonight when I was in my back yard I looked at it and instead of thinking of just Frankie, I also thought of Timmy and have renamed it in my mind to the Sette boys’ tree stump. It’s a little thing but I wanted you all to know they both are alive and well in my heart….

Words can’t express how much sympathy I have for you all and I hope that in the days and weeks ahead you find comfort knowing that Timmy was a good person and Frankie now has a playmate…

Keep the faith…
Doug Silvis

Many of my childhood sports memories include Coach Sette, whether that be playing for him in Little League and High School Baseball or standing in the batter’s box and seeing him behind home plate as an umpire. I learned a lot from him – he made you work hard, but he also made it a lot of fun along the way. I found him enjoyable when he was yelling at you and when he was laughing with you. You knew he cared, a true coach and friend. To Coach Sette, one of the good guys.

Dear Beverly, Sara and friends,

We are deeply saddened for Tim’s sudden passing and for the pain it again brings to you and your loved ones.

The song, “Marvelous Light” proclaims….. sin has as lost its power, death has lost its sting, from His grave He is risen…victoriously.

Our family has been friends for life and for that we are thankful.

You are in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear that Tim has passed away. We will truly miss seeing and joking with him. He was a great guy. Heaven has gained another Angel. To Sara, Katie, Mrs. Sette and all the family and friends of Tim, I offer my deepest sympathy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We never had a more dedicated and caring coach than Coach Sette. He was in it for all the right reasons. More than just a coach, a true friend to so many. We still joke about him taping our ankles until our toes were literally numb and him endlessly screaming “helpside” (I’m not sure why none of us could remember to get to the helpside.) You didn’t mind the yelling because you knew he cared so much. Hundreds of former St. Marys athletes have similar stories. Coach really made a difference, he will be truly missed. – The Mullaney Boys

Katie and Sara, and to the Sette Family…… So sorry to hear about Tim. Know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. There will be no answers for the “why”. Praying as time goes by, the pain will ease… Know that he is a whisper away…..and will always be with you.

We are saddened to hear of Tim’s passing. It has been a while since we got together with Tim, but we will never forget some fun times we had with him over the years. Two of them that come to mind were a fireworks gathering at the Country Club back by the barn and a crazy time at Fawn & Doug’s wedding in Hallton. Tim was always a lot of fun and we are certain he will be missed by his family and dear friends for whom we are praying.

Bev and Sette Family,
We were saddened to hear of Tim’s sudden passing. Our connection to Tim was through St. Marys Little League. Tim was a fierce competitor as a Coach and very knowledgeable of the game. He had a special knack to get under one’s skin during a game, but at the conclusion of the game, he always had a big “smile” on his face. We ran into him recently and we will forever remember the hand shake and smile of which we were so accustomed. There are many “Little Leaguers” grieving the loss of a great coach and “friend”. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
