Elizabeth L. “Betty” Wildfire

Elizabeth L. “Betty” Wildfire, 91, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 114 Cherry Road, Kersey, died Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Elk Regional Health Center after a brief illness.

She was born December 6, 1921, in Kersey, daughter of the late Clarence W. and Clara T. Anderson Woodley.  She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Kersey High School and the DuBois Business School.

In February 1952, she married Carl W. Wildfire, who preceded her in death on February 15, 2011.

She is survived by two sons, Rick Wildfire of Kersey and Ron Wildfire of Kersey.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence G. “Buster” Woodley in June 2011.

Funeral services for will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 9:00 AM, with the Rev. James Faluszczak officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Fox Twp. Fire Department, P.O. Box 229, Kersey, PA 15846; or to the Fox Twp. Ambulance Association, 432 Main Street, Kersey, PA 15846.
