My condolences to your family. David and I were classmates in East Bernard, Class ’71. Our respective families have been friends for many years. May you find comfort through prayer during this time and may you treasure all the good memories left behind. God Bless each of you now and in the years to come.

David was a great friend over the years. We chopped cotton together. He taught me how to play basketball. My brother Jim and I spent many afternoons playing basketball in his backyard. His mom made great crème puffs for us to snack on during time outs. David also helped me into the social world. He taught me how to be cool, how to dance, and he introduced me to Debbie, who was his wife Patty’s best friend and roommate back in 1977.

I will always remember David as one of the best friends I ever had and will miss him greatly.

May he rest in peace.

Patty and Family,
May God’s watchful eye guide you through this very sad time.

We would have so much fun when David, our cousin, came over to stay with us during Christmas vacation in the 60’s at our farm in Wallis. We popped fire crackers and played cards and board games late into the night. I remember, I was always so sad when he had to go back home.

May God’s love comfort and embrace you and help you through this difficult time. David is in my prayers.

Patty, Sarah, and Andrew,
I was away when I heard about Dave’s passing. I have known him since 1982 when I first came to town. He was my racquet ball partner, a good man, a good pharmacist, and neighbor.
Amazing, he was still smiling 6 weeks ago at the ER because he was not alone.
What a special family!

May the Lord comfort you all!

Dear Patty & Family,
My prayers and deepest sympathy to you and your family for the loss of David. We had been friends through the miles for a long time and really enjoyed the time he spent in East Bernard. He was not only a friend and fellow pharmacist, he was a Houston Cougar Alum which is hard to find in E.B. He was great to talk to, even in the last days and fought a great fight and now he is in a better place. I know he will be dearly missed. So let the sunshine always chase the clouds away and bring thoughts of all the happy times to cheer you and brighten your whole day. God Bless and GO COOGS!!!!! James RX
