Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gretchen Smith.

Mr. Straub enjoyed going to and working at his camps, including maintaining the Bear Run Property which he dedicated a great part of his life.  He enjoyed big game hunting, dry fly fishing, horseshoes, snowmobiling, gardening, riding his ATVs and spending time with family and friends.  He was on the Board of Directors of the Straub Brewery for 20+ years.

There are certain truths
that we know in our hearts—
When one day ends,
another day starts…
When a tree sheds its leaves,
New buds start to grow…
When the rain finally ends,
The rivers will flow…
When the sun sets at dusk
it will rise once again…
And when love has been shared,
It’s a bond without end.
Thinking of you during this very difficult time. May you find comfort knowing that Frank is at peace with God in Heaven.
