James M. Kiska

James M. Kiska, 55, of 441 Rightmeyer Street, St. Marys, passed away February 23, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born July 3, 1956 in Pittsburgh, son of Chester J. Kiska of Portland Mills and the late Margaret A. “Nancy” McKelvey Kiska.  He had resided in St. Marys the past 18 years and had attended Chartiers Valley Schools.

Besides his father, he is survived by his fiancée, Patricia Krise of St. Marys; two sisters, Betty Ann Lent of Hopewell, VA and Mary Jane Kiska of Pittsburgh; and two brothers, Chester Kiska Jr. of Wintersville, OH and David J. Kiska of West Palm Beach, FL.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister who died in infancy.

Mr. Kiska served in the US Marines from 1972-1978.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Meinrad Lawson OSB, pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Full military rites will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail.

Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
