Gail, Nori and Family – I was so sorry to hear about Vera’s passing. She was a very good friend of my parents, a wonderful, fun neighbor. She was one of the few people I had the pleasure of seeing on more that one of my visits home. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Beverly (Beaver) Wilson.

What a lovely person who will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of knowing her. I was her neighbor for many years but also felt a special tie to her as her brother Joe Quatroche was my great uncle who I loved dearly.
Goodbye beautiful lady.

Vera worked for years for Tony Herbst at Stackpole’s. She always looked out for the kids – always sending home “goodies” for Tony’s girls. She was the Queen of the BOGOs. She also was close to Tony’s sisters, Rose, Marie, Rita, Peg, Anne and Betts. She will be missed.
