Ina Doris Wittman

Ina Doris Wittman, 89, of 185 Center Street, Elk Towers, and formerly of 1851 Bucktail Road, St. Marys, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Penn Highlands Elk, after a brief illness.

She was born August 9, 1928, in Renovo, daughter of the late Arthur and Helen Jolloff Harpster. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Cameron County Schools.  Ina was a retired employee of Powder Metal Products, retiring in 1990, with over 20 years of service.

On July 14, 1951, in St. Mark’s Church in Emporium, Ina married James R. Wittman, who preceded her in death on June 5, 2016.

She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Petrazio (Eric Jr.) of Roanoke, VA and Connie Cornelio (Tom) of St. Marys; three sons, Michael Wittman (Julie) of St. Marys, Gregory Wittman (Jamie Sprague) of DuBois, and Douglas Wittman (Susan) of St. Marys; nine grandchildren, Eric Petrazio III, Emily Petrazio, Dominic Petrazio, Katie Kuczynski, Adam Cornelio, Jim Wittman, Tom Wittman, Ryan Wittman, and Laira Reuscher; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Stover, Kitty Hart (Jud), and Judy Summerson, all of Emporium; and by a brother, Arthur Harpster (JoAnn) of Emporium.

In addition to her husband and parents, Ina was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Tilburg, Rachel Halcomb, Joyce Moore, and Donna Muller.

Ina was a member of the Queen of the World Church. She loved watching cooking shows and trying new recipes.  She enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Sterling Run.  Ina was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching the games with family and friends.  She was very proud of her grandchildren and would keep up with all of them via Facebook and texting.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Jeff Noble officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

So sorry for the loss of your mom. Ina was a grand lady who always wore a smile! She was a pistol! Loved her!
