Constance M. Sadley

Constance M. Sadley, 69, of 15 Washington Street, St. Marys, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018, at her residence, after a brief illness.

She was born October 13, 1948, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Richard J. and Grace M. Hammer Mills. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1966.  Connie was a former employee of Sylvania in Emporium, the St. Marys Pharmacy, and she ran her own day care for several years.  Connie was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and she enjoyed going for walks.

On May 17, 1975, in the Sacred Heart Church, Connie married Frank J. Sadley, who survives. She is also survived by her son, Chad A. Sadley of St. Marys.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude L. Mills; and by two brothers, Kenneth R. Mills and William J. Mills. She was the last member of her immediate family.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral and committal services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857.

Frank, I was extremely saddened to read about Connie’s passing. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Keep the faith….the sun will be out tomorrow.

RIP Connie. I have fond memories of all the hours I spent at your house while growing up down the street from you on Spruce Street. My sincere sympathy goes out to you, Frank, and to you, Chad.

To my dear, dear Cousin,
I too have fond memories of playing cards with all our Aunts,
Aunt Mae, my Mom Leona, and your Mom, Aunt Grace.
We had great fun.
So sorry Frank and Chad for your loss.
She will be missed.
