Donna Kerchinski Stossel

Donna Kerchinski Stossel passed peacefully under the care and comfort of her family, on Friday, February 9, 2018, in Shelbyville, TN, at the age of 61.

She was born April 19, 1956, to Verena Cuneo, who survives of St. Marys, and the late Robert Kerchinski.

She graduated in 1977 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Clarion University, PA. She married Richard Stossel on July 4, 1992, in Creekside, PA.

She is survived by her husband Richard Stossel, of Shelbyville, TN; sisters, Linda Kerchinski, and her husband Martin Crowe, of Kersey, Beverly Valladares, and her husband Eme, of Richmond, VA, Catherine Suda, and her husband David, of Richmond, VA, and Christine Clark, and her husband Keith, of Richmond, VA; and brothers, John Kerchinski, and his wife Bobbi, of Bakersfield, CA, Timothy Kerchinski, and his wife Lisa, of State College, Thomas Kerchinski, and his wife Kim, of St. Marys, Joseph Kerchinski, of May, ID, and Robert Kerchinski, and his wife Monica, of St. Marys.

Donna was generous, witty, and dedicated to her family and friends. She loved to travel and was passionate about horses. This led her and her husband to relocate in Shelbyville to follow her dream and create Foxfire Farm.

She was an active and dedicated member and President of the Celebration City Car Club, held membership in Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders Association, Volunteer for Woman’s Missionary Union Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of Family Community Education in Shelbyville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Church on Friday, February 16, 2018, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Peter Augustine Pierjok, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
