I am so sad for the family for this loss. Dr. Jolly and I were so fond of Dr. Joseph and my family and I fondly remember the Thanksgiving dinners we had with the Joseph family in the mid 80’s when we first came to St. Marys.
I send my deep felt Sympathy to Julie, Jim, and Melissa. Just know he is in a better place. He served many, many patients very skillfully and helped them get better.
God Bless you all. Anju Jolly, Rashmi Jolly Dalai, and Ravi Jolly

I am the person who hired Dr. Joseph when I was on the board of Kaul Memorial Hospital. He became a wonderful gift to this little catholic community. He became also known as THE HAND OF GOD.
Some years after he was here the two of us were in an elevator in the hospital and he said: ”All right, you have to come and see me” and when I went to his office, he told me that I hade to have surgery. God love him, he took very good care of me. Years later he did a very minor surgery on me and to my surprise I had ended up in a private room, which of course he had arranged.
He will be greatly missed; not only by his family, by the people he worked with at the hospital and by many people in St. Marys and its surrounding area who were indebted to his skill.

Julie, Melissa, James and Zoe: We are keeping each one of you in our thoughts and prayers. Your father (and father-in-law) was such a gentle person. His skillfull hands took care of several people in our fair City and surrowing areas. He will be sadly missed. We pray that all of you will sit together and remember all the times you shared with your father and one another. All of you will remember him differently then we will as a Community. May the grace of God touch and be with all of you knowing that your father is now watching down upon each of you.

Dear Dr. Joseph Family,
Our heartfelt sympathy to you. We are so sad with the loss of Dr. Joseph. He was so good to Art & I. I will especially miss him as he took care of many of my health needs. I last saw him in December 2014 and asked him when he was going to retire. He said “not yet, I love what I do and I love the patients.” Find comfort in the fact that his patients loved him too.

Marie Mcgill September 13, 2015 at 6:47 pm

I am sending my deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Joseph. He took care of me many times and also my husband. The last time I spoke to him was April of 2014 on the 2nd floor of the Hospital. He asked what I was doing there and I told him my Husband was very sick and only had days to live. He told me how sorry he was and gave me a hug. Sadly just a little over a year after my husband’s passing we lost Dr. Joseph to the same illness that took my husband’s life. Dr. Joseph was a Great Surgeon and a kind and caring Man. He will be greatly missed. There should be more doctors like him. Rest in Peace, Dr. Joseph.
